30043-55-1 Usage
Derivative of urea and thiadiazole
It is a chemical compound derived from the combination of urea and thiadiazole, which are two distinct chemical structures.
Contains a butylsulphonyl group
The compound has a butylsulphonyl functional group attached to it, which is an alkyl group with a sulfur atom bonded to an oxygen atom.
Used as a herbicide in agriculture
It is commonly utilized in the agricultural industry to control the growth of unwanted plants.
Inhibits the growth of unwanted plants
The compound works by disrupting the activity of the enzyme acetolactate synthase, which is essential for the growth of plants.
Disrupts the activity of acetolactate synthase
By inhibiting this enzyme, the compound prevents the synthesis of essential amino acids, ultimately leading to the death of the plant.
Low toxicity towards mammals
The compound is considered to have a lower level of toxicity when compared to other herbicides, making it a safer option for agricultural use.
Safer option for agricultural use
Due to its low toxicity towards mammals, it is preferred over other potentially harmful herbicides in the agricultural industry.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 30043-55-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,0,0,4 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 30043-55:
(7*3)+(6*0)+(5*0)+(4*4)+(3*3)+(2*5)+(1*5)=61
61 % 10 = 1
So 30043-55-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Thiadiazole compounds and methods of use
-
, (2008/06/13)
Novel thiadiazole compounds are produced having the following general formula: STR1 wherein X is S or SO2 R1 is a lower alkyl (cyclic or non-cyclic) radical R2 is hydrogen or a lower acyclic hydrocarbon radical R3 is a lower acyclic hydrocarbon or cycloalkyl radical or alkoxy radical, and R4 is hydrogen, a lower acyclic hydrocarbon radical or cycloalkyl radical, provided R3 and R4 are not both cycloalkyl, and [B] Tautomers of [A] wherein R2 is hydrogen. Synthesis of these compounds is disclosed, including synthesis of those compounds which exhibit tautomerism. The compounds show particular utility as agricultural pesticides and most favorably as herbicides.
