Usage

General Description

d-Ketamine is an enantiomer of ketamine, a fast-acting anesthetic and antidepressant medication. It functions by blocking N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors in the brain, leading to its anesthetic effects. d-Ketamine has been shown to have a more potent and longer-lasting antidepressant effect compared to its racemic counterpart, as well as a lower propensity for side effects such as dissociation and hallucinations. It is currently being researched and developed as a potential treatment for depression and other psychiatric disorders.
