Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 35112-53-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,5,1,1 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 35112-53:
(7*3)+(6*5)+(5*1)+(4*1)+(3*2)+(2*5)+(1*3)=79
79 % 10 = 9
So 35112-53-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
