3626-28-6 Usage
Description
Disodium 4-amino-5-hydroxy-3-[[4'-[(4-hydroxyphenyl)azo][1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl]azo]-6-(phenylazo)naphthalene-2,7-disulphonate is a dark green solid or black powder that is soluble in water, producing a blue light green color. It is also soluble in soluble fiber elements and moderately soluble in ethanol and acetone, but insoluble in other organic solvents. In the dark, it turns blue-black in strong sulfuric acid and changes from brown to red in nitric acid. When added to a dye solution, it forms a gray light purple precipitate with strong hydrochloric acid and a dark blue purple precipitate with sodium hydroxide solution.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 3626-28-6 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 3,6,2 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 3626-28:
(6*3)+(5*6)+(4*2)+(3*6)+(2*2)+(1*8)=86
86 % 10 = 6
So 3626-28-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
