3626-29-7 Usage
Description
Direct Brown 101 is a dark red powder that is soluble in water, resulting in an orange-brown color, and in ethanol, resulting in a gold-orange color. It exhibits dark blue color in strong sulfuric acid and turns to a light olive brown when diluted. The dye solution forms an olive brown precipitate when mixed with strong hydrochloric acid and a red light orange-brown precipitate when mixed with a thick sodium hydroxide solution. It has good dye absorption on cellulose fibers and shows the highest affinity at 100°C temperature.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
Direct Brown 101 is used as a dye for cellulose fibers, providing good dye absorption and colorfastness properties. It is particularly suitable for dyeing viscose fabric and its blends, as well as knitting fabrics and blankets. However, it is generally not used for printing.
Used in Wool/Stick Industry:
Direct Brown 101 is used as a dye for wool and stick materials, offering good colorfastness and resistance to various conditions.
Used in Leather and Paper Industry:
Direct Brown 101 is also used for coloring leather and paper products, providing good colorfastness and resistance to various conditions.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 3626-29-7 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 3,6,2 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 3626-29:
(6*3)+(5*6)+(4*2)+(3*6)+(2*2)+(1*9)=87
87 % 10 = 7
So 3626-29-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
