Two series of acetylenic aminoalcohols were prepared, one derived from ethynylation, from propanone Mannich bases. The other is obtained by selective alkylation of acetylenic alcohols with chlorobromoalkanes, the chlorinated acetylenic alcohols are then opposed to several amines. Some quaternary ammonium compounds are prepared. Depending on the compound the pharmacological study shows hypotensive, analgetic, antiinflammatory, antireserpinic, anticholinergic or spasmolytic properties.
