Description
Disodium 1-[[[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-ylcarbonyl]amino]anthracene-9,10-diyl disulphate is a synthetic dye characterized by its colorful green light yellow appearance. It is a light yellow, evenly powdered substance that is soluble in water. This dye is sensitive to light and acidic conditions, which can cause it to resolve easily. It is also known to revert to its original color when exposed to air and oxidizers. However, it is brittle and not suitable for use in printing and dyeing curtains or other supplies that are frequently exposed to sunlight.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
Disodium 1-[[[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-ylcarbonyl]amino]anthracene-9,10-diyl disulphate is primarily used for dyeing and printing cotton fabrics. It is particularly effective in providing a vibrant green color to the fabric. The dye can be used with urea as a solvent to facilitate the printing process on sheets and handkerchiefs. It can also be combined with other soluble pigments, such as green fruit green IB, to enhance the colorfastness of the printed material and improve its resistance to fading when exposed to sunlight.
Standard:
The dye meets the following standards for various properties:
1. Ironing Fastness: ISO 5
2. Chlorine bleach: ISO 5
3. Light Fastness: ISO 4
4. Mercerized: N/A
5. Oxygen bleach: N/A
6. Soaping: N/A
7. Fading: N/A
8. Stain: N/A
Preparation
(a) in the presence of Pyridine, with Chlorosulfonic acid treatment C.I. 60530 leuco; (b) used in Pyridine?metal (such as copper, iron, zinc, etc) and Sulfur trioxide source (such as Sulfur trioxide, Chlorosulfonic acid or Methyl chlorosulfonate) processing C.I. 60530. The above two kinds of circumstances are through with alkali, filter out the insoluble,, remove Pyridine?and salting-out. The preparation of the C.I. 60530 are as follows: 1-Aminoanthracene-9,10-dione and 4-Phenylbenzic acid?in Thionyl chloride under the existence of condensation

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 3956-62-5 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 3,9,5 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 3956-62:
(6*3)+(5*9)+(4*5)+(3*6)+(2*6)+(1*2)=115
115 % 10 = 5
So 3956-62-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
