4372-02-5 Usage
Description
Disodium 2-(4,5-dibromo-6-oxido-3-oxoxanthen-9-yl)benzoate is a red light orange compound that exhibits unique fluorescence properties when dissolved in various solvents. It is soluble in water, showing an orange color with weak fluorescence, in ethanol, displaying an orange color with greenish fluorescence, and in acetone, appearing pink with yellow fluorescence. Additionally, it dissolves in chaff and four hydrogen furfuryl alcohol. When treated with strong sulfuric acid, it turns titian, and upon dilution, it turns into a yellow-brown color with orange precipitation. In an aqueous solution, the addition of sodium hydroxide turns it red. disodium 2-(4,5-dibromo-6-oxido-3-oxoxanthen-9-yl)benzoate also shows good dispersion in glycerin and liquid paraffin.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 4372-02-5 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 4,3,7 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 4372-02:
(6*4)+(5*3)+(4*7)+(3*2)+(2*0)+(1*2)=75
75 % 10 = 5
So 4372-02-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
