Description
ACID GREEN 41 is a dark green crystalline powder that is soluble in various solvents such as acetone, ethanol, soluble fiber element, o-chlorophenol, and pyridine. It is insoluble in benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, and toluene. When it comes into contact with strong sulfuric acid, it turns green, and when diluted, it becomes a green light. It exhibits good light fastness, soaping, perspiration fastness, oxygen bleaching, and fastness to seawater.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
ACID GREEN 41 is used as a dye for wool, silk, and wool fabric dyeing and printing. It is also used for paper coloring and in organic pigments. It is primarily used for loose hair, tops, and yarn, and is generally used alone.
