50627-20-8 Usage
General Description
2-AMINO-3-CYANO-5-PHENYLPYRAZIN-1-IUM-1-OLATE, also known as acycloguanosine, is a nucleoside analogue of guanosine that is incorporated into viral DNA during replication. It is used as an antiviral agent, particularly for the treatment of herpes virus infections. Acycloguanosine works by inhibiting the viral DNA polymerase, preventing the replication of the viral genome. This disrupts the ability of the virus to spread and cause infection. It is commonly used in the treatment of herpes simplex virus infections, including genital herpes and cold sores, as well as varicella-zoster virus infections, such as chickenpox and shingles. Acycloguanosine is available in various forms, including oral medication, topical cream, and intravenous infusion.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 50627-20-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,0,6,2 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 50627-20:
(7*5)+(6*0)+(5*6)+(4*2)+(3*7)+(2*2)+(1*0)=98
98 % 10 = 8
So 50627-20-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
