5462-29-3 Usage
Description
ANTHRA RED B is a brilliant red light purple pigment that appears as a purple powder. It is insoluble in water but soluble in xylene as a blue light red with weak yellow fluorescence. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it exhibits a brilliant green color, which turns into a red precipitate upon dilution. Alkaline reduction results in a leuco yellow color, while acid reduction yields a leuco colorless color.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
ANTHRA RED B is used as a dye for cotton fabric, providing a brilliant red light purple color. It has a high affinity for cotton, resulting in good levelness. It can also be used for direct, resist, and discharge printing on cotton fabric, as well as for dyeing and printing on silk and wool fabrics.
Standard:
ANTHRA RED B meets various standards for fastness and performance, including:
Ironing Fastness: ISO 5, AATCC 5

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 5462-29-3 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 5,4,6 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 5462-29:
(6*5)+(5*4)+(4*6)+(3*2)+(2*2)+(1*9)=93
93 % 10 = 3
So 5462-29-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
