4-Pregnene-17,20alpha,21-triol-3,11-dione, also known as 11-deoxycorticosterone, is a steroid hormone and a precursor to the mineralocorticoid aldosterone. It is produced in the adrenal cortex and plays a role in the regulation of electrolyte balance and blood pressure.
