Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 59066-78-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,9,0,6 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 59066-78:
(7*5)+(6*9)+(5*0)+(4*6)+(3*6)+(2*7)+(1*8)=153
153 % 10 = 3
So 59066-78-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and characterization of Ag(I) complexes derived from new N-heterocyclic carbenes

Hasson, Mohammed Mujbel,Al-Zaidi, Basim H.,Ismail, Ahmad H.

, p. 1149 - 1152 (2019/04/05)

Two new unsymmetrical imidazolium salts viz., [1-(4-ethylphenyl)-3-propyl-1H-imidazole-3-ium bromide] (3) and [1-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-3-propyl-1H-imidazole-3-ium bromide] (4) have been synthesized via the reaction of propyl bromide with imidazole derivati

Nano copper(i) oxide/zinc oxide catalyzed N-arylation of nitrogen-containing heterocycles with aryl halides and arylboronic acids in air

Hosseini-Sarvari, Mona,Moeini, Fatemeh

, p. 7321 - 7329 (2014/02/14)

The synergistic effect of zinc and copper in Cu2O/ZnO nanoflake as a heterogeneous catalyst for the N-arylation of heterocycles with aryl halides and arylboronic acids in the absence of additional ligand in air were demonstrated. The catalyst was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), BET surface area measurement, and FT-IR spectroscopy. The Royal Society of Chemistry 2014.

Recyclable heterogeneous iron catalyst for C-N cross-coupling under ligand-free conditions

Swapna,Vijay Kumar,Prakash Reddy,Rama Rao

supporting information; experimental part, p. 7514 - 7517 (2009/12/28)

(Chemical Equation Presented) An efficient and ligand-free C-N cross-coupling of aryl halides with various heterocycles using Fe/Cg as a recyclable catalyst is reported. The yields are excellent to moderate. 2009 American Chemical Society.
