Water soluble.
Reactivity Profile
METHYLAZOXY METHANOL ACETATE is an azo compound. Azo, compounds can detonate. This applies in particular to organic azides that have been sensitized by the addition of metal salts or strong acids. Toxic gases are formed by mixing materials of this class with acids, aldehydes, amides, carbamates, cyanides, inorganic fluorides, halogenated organics, isocyanates, ketones, metals, nitrides, peroxides, phenols, epoxides, acyl halides, and strong oxidizing or reducing agents. Flammable gases are formed by mixing materials in this group with alkali metals. Explosive combination can occur with strong oxidizing agents, metal salts, peroxides, and sulfides. METHYLAZOXY METHANOL ACETATE is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents. METHYLAZOXY METHANOL ACETATE is a potent alkylating agent.
Fire Hazard
METHYLAZOXY METHANOL ACETATE is combustible.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 592-62-1 includes 6 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 3 digits, 5,9 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 592-62:
(5*5)+(4*9)+(3*2)+(2*6)+(1*2)=81
81 % 10 = 1
So 592-62-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
