Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
Reactive Red 136 is used as a dye for various types of fabrics, including wool, loose fibers, tops, and wool/nylon blended fabrics. It provides bright and colorful results on dyed fabrics, with good color fastness.
The dyeing process involves adding 1% of leveler PW-BX and raising the dye bath temperature to 70-75°C for heat preservation for 15-16 minutes. The duration depends on the desired dyeing depth. If the dyeing depth is greater than 10%, post-processing with liquid ammonia is required at a pH value of 8.5, for 15 minutes at 80°C.
Standard (Wool):
The dye exhibits the following fastness ratings on wool:
Light Fastness: ISO 4
Oxygen Bleaching: ISO 4 (blue)
Perspiration Fastness: ISO 5
Soaping: ISO 4 (blue)
Fading: ISO 5
Stain: ISO 3-4 (blue)
These ratings indicate the dye's performance in terms of color retention and resistance to various conditions, making it a suitable choice for the textile industry.
