Disperse Yellow 50 is a brilliant yellow powder that is commonly used as a dye for various materials, including polyester, blended fabrics, fibers, and polyamide fibers.

Uses

Used in Textile Industry:
Disperse Yellow 50 is used as a dye for polyester and their blended fabrics, as well as for fiber and polyamide fiber dyeing of vinegar. It provides excellent ironing fastness, light fastness, perspiration fastness, washing fastness, fading, and stain resistance.
Standards:
The fastness and resistance of Disperse Yellow 50 are measured according to the AATCC and ISO standards. The ironing fastness is rated 6-7 on the AATCC scale, while the light fastness is rated 4-5. The perspiration fastness is rated 4, and the washing fastness is rated 5. The fading and stain resistance are also rated according to the ISO standards, with ratings of 4, 3, 5, 5, and 5 respectively.

Preparation

N-(4-aminophenyl)acetamide?diazotization and coupling p-Cresol, hydrolyzed with sodium hydroxide, use Benzoyl chloride ?acylation.
