Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 6786-83-0 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,7,8 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6786-83:
(6*6)+(5*7)+(4*8)+(3*6)+(2*8)+(1*3)=140
140 % 10 = 0
So 6786-83-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
