Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 70351-95-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 7,0,3,5 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 70351-95:
(7*7)+(6*0)+(5*3)+(4*5)+(3*1)+(2*9)+(1*5)=110
110 % 10 = 0
So 70351-95-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

SPECTROSCOPIC STUDY OF A DISC-LIKE LIQUID CRYSTAL: HEXA-N-NONANOYLOXYTRIPHENYLENE STRUCTURE AND DYNAMICS OF THE ALKYL CHAINS
Rey-Lafon, Madeleine,Destrade, Christian,Hemida, Azzeddine Tazi
, p. 381 - 390 (2007/10/02)
The structure of the alkyl chains bonded to the aromatic core in hexa-n-nonanoyloxytriphenylene is studied as a function of temperature. In the crystal phase, the spectra suggest a disorder of the chains due to angular fluctuations about the carbon-carbon bonds in the vicinity of trans states.Numerous conformational defects appear at the first phase transition.
