The synthesis and principal properties of racemic α-(7,1-bromonaphthyl)-propionic acid are described.The racemic acid was resolved.Spatial structures of enantiomers were elucidated on the basis of studies on quasi-racemic systems.Optical rotatory dispersion of the dextrorotatory enantiomer, its amide and its p-nitrobenzyl and p-bromophenacyl esters were determinated in the region 300λ600 nm.
