Synthesis and characterization of new 2,3-disubstituted thieno[3,4-b]pyrazines: Tunable building blocks for low band gap conjugated materials

, p. 8529 - 8536 (2008)
(Chemical Equation Presented) Synthetic methods have been developed for the preparation of new 2,3-dihalothieno[3,4-b]pyrazines, from which a variety of new 2,3-difunctionalized thieno[3,4-b]pyrazines have been produced as precursors to conjugated materials. Structural, electronic, and optical characterization of these new analogues illustrate the extent to which the electronic nature of the functional groups can be used to tune the electronic properties of the thieno[3,4-b]pyrazine unit.
THIENODIAZEPINE DERIVATIVE OR PHARMACEUTICALLY ACCEPTABLE SALT THEREOF, AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

Paragraph 0131-0133, (2018/03/01)
The present invention relates to novel thienodiazepine derivatives or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition including the same. The thienodiazepine derivatives or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof exhibit selective inhibition activities against protein kinases such as c-Kit, FLT3, FMS, LYN, RAF1, VEGFR3, PDGFRa, PDGFRb, RET, etc., and thus can be used as a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of abnormal cell growth diseases.
Homogenous bimetallic catalysis on amination of ArX and ArX2 in aqueous medium-synergistic effect of dicopper complexes
Liao, Bei-Sih,Liu, Shiuh-Tzung
, p. 28 - 31 (2013/03/28)
A dicopper complex [Cu2(bpnp)(OH)(CF3COO) 3] (1) (bpnp = 2,7-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-l,8-naphthyridine) was found to be an excellent catalyst on amination of aryl halides and aryl dihalides with ammonia in aqueous solutions leading to the corresponding anilines and aryldiamines, respectively. Catalytic activity of 1 toward amination appears to be superior to those of other mono nuclear copper complexes. Furthermore, the bimetallic catalyst 1 gave exclusively diamination product in the reaction of ArX2 with ammonia, but other copper complexes showed poor selectivity. Kinetic product distribution study suggests that the dicopper metal ions in this catalysis promote the second amination efficiently.
