MANUFACTURING METHOD OF FLUORINE-CONTAINING AROMATIC DIAMINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for obtaining a fluorine-containing aromatic diamine having a hexafluoroisopropanol group(s) (-C(CF3)2OH) bound to an aromatic ring(s) in the aromatic diamine with good selectivity and yield, while suppressing by-production of imines. SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of a fluorine-containing aromatic diamine for obtaining a fluorine-containing aromatic diamine having a hexafluoroisopropanol group(s) bound to an aromatic ring(s), the production method comprising reacting an aromatic diamine and hexafluoroacetone in 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propanol.
