The invention relates to the technical field of compound preparation, and in particular, relates to a preparation method of cinacalcet impurities, wherein the method comprises the steps: dissolving triphosgene in dichloromethane, stirring, cooling to -5 to 0 DEG C, adding an alkali, adding R-(+)-1-(1-naphthyl)ethylamine, heating to room temperature of 18 to 23 DEG C, and stirring to react for a period of time to obtain an intermediate product II; then, dissolving the intermediate product II in dichloromethane, stirring and cooling to -5 to 0 DEG C, adding alkali and 3-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl)propanol, heating to room temperature of 18 to 23 DEG C, and stirring to react for a period of time to obtain a final product. The preparation process disclosed by the invention is reasonable in design, simple to operate, easily available in raw materials, high in purity, controllable in reaction process and single in used alkali, and the prepared cinacalcet impurities provide reference substancesfor analysis and research for comprehensively analyzing clinic, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and toxicology of cinacacin.
