91930-79-9 Usage
Uses
Because of its unusual recognition sequence, Sfi I is useful for analyzing and cloning large DNA fragments.Note: The octameric recognition sequence of Sfi I rarely occurs in the genomes of many organisms, especially those that have low G+C content.
General Description
Sfi I recognizes the sequence GG°C*CNNNN↓NGG°C°C and generates fragments with 3′-cohesive termini. Note: Sfi I sites are a subset of Bgl I sites. The cleavage position in the N5 region is identical.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 91930-79-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,1,9,3 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 91930-79:
(7*9)+(6*1)+(5*9)+(4*3)+(3*0)+(2*7)+(1*9)=149
149 % 10 = 9
So 91930-79-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
