General Description

PF-03654746 is a potent and selective histamine H3 receptor antagonist developed by Pfizer. It is used in clinical trials for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and cognitive impairment. Studies suggest this drug may enhance cognitive function by stimulating neurotransmitter release. However, side effects have been reported such as nausea, decreased appetite, and anxiety during clinical trials. The antagonist properties of PF-03654746 have demonstrated the potential for treating disorders of sleep and cognition. In addition, this compound can also cross the blood-brain barrier and has been used as a biomarker for drug penetration into the brain. However, further studies are needed. PF-03654746 is not currently available in the market.
