The reaction of 1-isothiazoles, the structure of one of which (3-methyl-2-phenyl-4,5-dimethoxycarbonylpyrazoloisothiazole) was proved by x-ray crystallographic analysis (λMo, 2469 reflections, direct method, method of least squares to R = 0.048).The crystals are monoclinic, α = 25.735, b = 7.552, c = 16.390 Angstroem, β = 95.54 deg, Z = 8, space group C2/c.
