Picamilon

Details:

 Picamilon is a unique combination of niacin (vitamin B3) and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the same molecule. Unlike GABA, it rapidly and effectively penetrates the blood brain barrier. This combination has significantly more potent and varied effects than each of its two constituents. Picamilon is unique in that it offers both cognitive enhancing and anti-stress benefits at the same time.

Animal and human studies have shown that it is particularly effective for stress, anxiety, depression, loss of energy or alcohol withdrawal symptoms.

In particular, Picamilon has the following attributes:

¤ Easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and increases intra-cranial and cortical blood circulation;  ¤ is an effective vasodilator with superior action to that of Hydergine or Vinpocetine;  ¤ lowers blood pressure;  ¤ has a tranquillizing, but non-sedative effect and reduces aggressiveness;  ¤ acts as mild stimulant;  ¤ has fast-acting neurological action.

Improvements may be apparent as early as the second or third day after taking Picamilon in patients suffering from acute brain syndrome. It stimulates physical and psychic rehabilitation from various asthenic (weakening) disorders; 

¤ is beneficial in the treatment of certain eye diseases, particularly open-angle glaucoma;  ¤ reduces pain and other symptoms of migraine;  ¤ reduces symptoms associated with alcohol withdrawal. 

This compound acts very quickly, as its effects are apparent within an hour, and can last up to six hours. It has very low toxicity and side-effects are extremely rare. However, high doses of Picamilon should not be used in combination with other vasodilators such as Ginkgo biloba or Vinpocetine.

Suggested Use: Take 100 to 400mg per day.
