The increased levels of cyclic nucleotides (cGMP and cAMP) in enterocytes trigger intracellular mechanisms of ion and fluid secretion into the lumen, causing secretory diarrhea. Twelve novel pyridopyrimidines derived from 5-(3,5-bistrifluoromethylphenyl)-
