Production method of this chemical: The 2-Pyridinemethanamine,N-methyl- could be obtained by the reactant of Methylamine and 2-chloromethyl-pyridine; Hydrochloride. This reaction needs the solvent of H2O and Ethanol. The yield is 69.6 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 4 days at the ambient temperature.



Uses of this chemical: The 2-Pyridinemethanamine,N-methyl- could react with Phenyl-oxirane, and obtain the 2-(methyl-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-amino)-1-phenyl-ethanol. The yield is 75.8 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 1 hour at the temperature of  100 °C.
