Preparation of Acetic acid,2-cyano-14C-, ethyl ester: it is prepared by reaction of chloroacetic acid ethyl ester with potassium ((14)C)cyanide. The reaction needs reagent 18-crown-6 and solvents H2O and acetonitrile at ambient temperature for 72 hours. The yield is about 79%.
