Preparation: this chemical can be prepared by Glycine ethyl ester. This reaction will need reagent ZnCl2; Zn(BH4)2, solvent Tetrahydrofuran. The reaction time is 10 hours with ambient temperature. The yield is about 70%.

Uses of Glycine, N,N-dimethyl-,ethyl ester: it can be used to produce Ethenetricarboxylic acid triethyl ester. It will need reagent Cu and solvent Toluene with reaction time of 16 hours. And this reaction need heating. The yield is about 90%.
