Urease Specification

The Urease with CAS registry number of 9002-13-5 is also known as Enzyme urease and Urea amidohydrolase. The systematic name and product name are the same. It belongs to product categories of Biochemistry; Enzyme; Hydrolase; Metabolomics; 3.5.x.x Acting on C-N other than peptides; Diagnostic and Analytical EnzymesMetabolomics; General Metabolic Enzymes I-ZEnzyme Class Index; 3.x.x.x Hydrolases; Application Index; Enzymes, Inhibitors, and Substrates; General Metabolic Enzymes; Diagnostic and Analytical EnzymesResearch Essentials; EnzymesMetabolomics; Core Bioreagents. Its EINECS registry number is 232-656-0. This chemical is a white fine crystalline powder and should be stored in sealed containers in cool and dry place at 2-8 °C.

Preparation of Urease: the raw material is con powder, which is extracted with acetone, filtrated, centrifugated and crystallizated to obtain the product.

Uses of Urease: it can be used for biochemical research, such as decomposing urea in the remaining wine and inhibiting the formation of ethyl carbamate. This chemical is often used in clinical as diagnostic enzyme for the determination of blood and urine urea urease. It also can be used to prevent hepatic coma.

When you are using this chemical, please be cautious about it. As a chemical, it is irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin and may cause sensitisation by inhalation. During using it, wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. Besides, do not breathe gas/fumes/vapour/spray and avoid contact with skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If you feel unwell seek or accident happens medical advice immediately.
