Nature and stability
1. Colorless liquid, ammonia flavor, this product is less toxic. Can be mixed with water, soluble in ether, acetone and most other organic solvents. Dissolves most organic and inorganic compounds, polar gases, natural and synthetic polymer compounds.

2. Chemical properties: stable in neutral solutions. Hydrolysis occurs after 8 hours in 4% sodium hydroxide solution. Hydrolysis occurs gradually in concentrated hydrochloric acid, resulting in 4-methylamine. Due to the reaction of the caronyl, ketones or thiopental can be produced.

3. In the presence of alkali catalysts and olefins, alkylation reaction occurs in the 3rd place. N-methyl pyridoxane is weakly alkaline and can produce hydrochloride. A compound is formed with heavy metal salts, e.g. heated to 150 degrees C with nickel bromide, resulting in NiBr2 (C5H9ON)3 with a melting point of 105 degrees C.
