Common name: Asulam Trade name: Huang cao ling Chemical name: methylsulfanilylcarbamate Application: Cell division inhibiter. Seleotive systemic herbicide, absorbed by the leaves, shoots and roots. Control annual and perennial grasses and broad-leaved weeds in spinach, alflfa, some ornamentals, sugarcane, banana, coffee, tea, co-co, coconuts, rubber etc; wild oats in flax; docks in grassland, fruit trees and bushes and on non crop land; and bracken(preridium aquilinum)in grassland, non crop land and forestry. Application rates from 1-10kg/ha,depending on crops. Formulation: 1.95%EC; 1.35%asulam-sodium AS.
