Convenient preparation of alkynyl selenides, sulfides and tellurides from terminal alkynes and phenylchalcogenyl halides in the presence of copper(I) iodide
Braga,Silveira,Reckziegel,Menezes
, p. 8041 - 8042 (1993)
Alkynyl selenides, sulfides and tellurides were obtained under very mild conditions by reacting terminal alkynes with phenylchalcogenyl halides in the presence of copper iodide(I).
THE FACILE DESELENATION OF ACETYLENIC SELENIDES
Comasseto, Joao V.,Silveira, Claudio C.,Ferreira, Jose T. B.,Catani, Valdomiro
, p. 283 - 290 (2007/10/02)
Acetylenic selenides react rapidly with m-chloroperbenzoic acid in a mixture of tetrahydrofuran-water.Treatment of the reaction mixture with 1N sodium hydroxide leads to the corresponding terminal acetylenes in high yield.
