1599-33-3 Usage

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1599-33-3 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,5,9 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1599-33:
(6*1)+(5*5)+(4*9)+(3*9)+(2*3)+(1*3)=103
103 % 10 = 3
So 1599-33-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Diboron-Catalyzed Dehydrative Amidation of Aromatic Carboxylic Acids with Amines

Sawant, Dinesh N.,Bagal, Dattatraya B.,Ogawa, Saeko,Selvam, Kaliyamoorthy,Saito, Susumu

, p. 4397 - 4400 (2018)

Tetrakis(dimethylamido)diboron and tetrahydroxydiboron are herein reported as new catalysts for the synthesis of aryl amides by catalytic condensation of aromatic carboxylic acids with amines. The developed protocol is both simple and highly efficient over a broad range of substrates. This method thus represents an attractive approach for the use of diboron catalysts in the synthesis of amides without having to resort to stoichiometric or additional dehydrating agents.

Cross-Dehydrogenating Coupling of Aldehydes with Amines/R-OTBS Ethers by Visible-Light Photoredox Catalysis: Synthesis of Amides, Esters, and Ureas

Pandey, Ganesh,Koley, Suvajit,Talukdar, Ranadeep,Sahani, Pramod Kumar

supporting information, p. 5861 - 5865 (2018/09/21)

A straightforward synthesis of amides, ureas, and esters is reported by visible-light cross-dehydrogenating coupling (CDC) of aldehydes (or amine carbaldehydes) and amines/R-OTBS ethers by photoredox catalysis. The reaction is found to be general and high yielding. A plausible mechanistic pathway has been proposed for these transformations and is supported by appropriate controlled experiments.
