Chemical Properties and Applications:

In nitric acid, the solution remains yellow even when diluted. Its water solution is blue, and it shows light color change when mixed with a 1 Moore sodium hydroxide solution. The addition of boric acid sodium results in a shallow purple color. The dye has a high affinity and reactivity, with a standard depth of 1/1 for 2 levels of white. It also demonstrates good performance in terms of light fastness, oxygen bleaching, perspiration fastness, soaping, fading, and stain resistance, with ISO ratings ranging from 4-5 to 7.
Preparation
1-Amino-4-bromo-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracene-2-sulfonic acid and 2-(3-Aminophenylsulfonyl)ethyl hydrogen sulfate condensation, refined, and then salting-out.
