Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 3731-94-0 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 3,7,3 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 3731-94:
(6*3)+(5*7)+(4*3)+(3*1)+(2*9)+(1*4)=90
90 % 10 = 0
So 3731-94-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Nonracemic Dimethylphenyl Glycerol Ethers in the Synthesis of Physiologically Active Aminopropanols

Bredikhina,Kurenkov,Bredikhin

, p. 837 - 844 (2019/08/02)

Six regioisomeric nonracemic dimethylphenyl glycerol ethers were synthesized by asymmetric dihydroxylation of the corresponding allyl dimethylphenyl ethers. The enantioselectivity of the reaction with o-methyl derivatives was lower (down to 34% ee) than with m-methylphenyl ethers (up to 86% ee). Enantiomeric 3-(3,4-dimethylphenoxy)propane-1,2-diols were used to obtain enantiomerically pure physiologically active amino alcohols and their derivatives.

Asymmetric synthesis of aryloxypropanolamines via OsO4-catalyzed asymmetric dihydroxylation

Sayyed, Iliyas A.,Thakur, Vinay V.,Nikalje, Milind D.,Dewkar, Gajanan K.,Kotkar,Sudalai

, p. 2831 - 2838 (2007/10/03)

A simple and effective procedure for the enantioselective synthesis of several β-adrenergic blocking agents incorporating the first asymmetric synthesis of celiprolol, is described. The key steps are (i) sharpless asymmetric dihydroxylation of aryl allyl ethers to introduce chirality into the molecules and (ii) conversion of cyclic sulfates into the corresponding epoxides using a three-step procedure.

Structure-activity relationships for inhibition of inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase by nuclear variants of mycophenolic acid

Nelson, Peter H.,Carr, Stephen F.,Devens, Bruce H.,Eugui, Elsie M.,Franco, Fidencio,Gonzalez, Carlos,Hawley, Ronald C.,Loughhead, David G.,Milan, David J.,Papp, Eva,Patterson, John W.,Rouhafza, Sussan,Sjogren, Eric B.,Smith, David B.,Stephenson, Rebecca A.,Talamas, Francisco X.,Waltos, Ann-Marie,Weikert, Robert J.,Wu, John C.

, p. 4181 - 4196 (2007/10/03)

Structure-activity relationships in the region of the phthalide ring of the inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase inhibitor mycophenolic acid have been explored. Replacement of the lactone ring with other cyclic moieties resulted in loss of potency, especia
