Usage

General Description

2-Isopropoxy-4-methoxybenzonitrile, also known as imazamox, is a chemical compound commonly used as a herbicide to control annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in a variety of crops. It belongs to the chemical class of benzonitrile herbicides and is known for its selective and systemic action. Imazamox acts by inhibiting the activity of the acetolactate synthase enzyme in target plants, disrupting their ability to produce essential branched-chain amino acids, ultimately leading to their death.
