Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 858468-00-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 8,5,8,4,6 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 858468-00:
(8*8)+(7*5)+(6*8)+(5*4)+(4*6)+(3*8)+(2*0)+(1*0)=215
215 % 10 = 5
So 858468-00-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Formal Allylation and Enantioselective Cyclopropanation of Donor/Acceptor Rhodium(II) Azavinyl Carbenes

Liu, Zhili,Chen, Lianfen,Zhu, Dong,Zhu, Shifa

supporting information, p. 1275 - 1279 (2021/02/20)

A highly efficient formal allylation of dihydronaphthotriazoles with alkenes under rhodium(II) catalysis is reported. Various allyl dihydronaphthalene derivatives were furnished via rhodium(II) azavinyl carbenes with moderate to good yields and excellent chemoselectivity. When monosubstituted alkenes are used, cyclopropanation occurs and good to excellent enantioselectivities have been achieved. Particularly noteworthy is the allylic C(sp2)-H activation instead of traditional C(sp3)-H activation in the formal allylation process.

Cobalt-Catalyzed Cross-Couplings between Alkenyl Acetates and Aryl or Alkenyl Zinc Pivalates

Li, Jie,Knochel, Paul

, p. 11436 - 11440 (2018/08/11)

CoBr2 (5 mol %) in the presence of 2,2′-bipyridyl (5 mol %) enables electrophilic alkenylations between easily accessible alkenyl acetates or tosylates and various functionalized aryl zinc pivalates at ambient temperature. This cobalt-catalyzed

Iron-Catalyzed Acyloxyalkylation of Styrenes Using Hypervalent Iodine Reagents

Wang, Zijia,Kanai, Motomu,Kuninobu, Yoichiro

supporting information, p. 2398 - 2401 (2017/05/12)

Iron-catalyzed acyloxyalkylation of styrene derivatives using hypervalent iodine reagents was achieved. The acyloxyalkylation reaction proceeded using various types of styrenes and hypervalent iodine reagents. The acyloxyalkylated products were obtained in moderate to good yields without loss of the functional groups. The reaction proceeded via the formation of radical species derived from hypervalent iodine reagents by decarboxylation.
