Twiga Chemical Industries was incorporated on 18th May 1949, then referred to as AECI (EA) Ltd. It was a subsidiary of Imperial Chemical Industries PLC (ICI),UK. By a Special Resolution passed on the 1st July 1962, the company was renamed ‘Twiga Chemical Industries Limited'.
