listed in this section are only present at quantities below 0.1% or they are inextricably bound in the product.

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Get medical attention if irritation occurs or if breathing becomes difficult. Remove contaminated clothing
and shoes.

3. Hazards Identification
Primary Routes(s) Of Entry
Eyes, Skin, Inhalation (hydrolysis/by-product), Ingestion
Eye Hazards
May cause slight eye irritation.
Skin Hazards
No acute toxic effects are expected.
Ingestion Hazards
Not expected in industrial use.
Inhalation Hazards
Not expected due to high viscosity.
Subchronic (Target Organ Effects)
No known internal organ effects.
Chronic/Carcinogenicity Effects
Not established. This material contains carbon black. However, due to the physical nature of this material
inhalation of carbon black is not possible.
Signs And Symptoms
Refer to Acute Health Effects, listed above.
Conditions Aggravated By Exposure
None known.
The health hazard evaluation is based on test results and/or on known properties of ingredients. This material releases
methanol (methyl alcohol) upon moisture curing. Upon completion of the curing process, methanol will no longer be
released. According to literature, methanol (CAS-No 67-56-1) irritates mucus membranes, has skin drying and narcotic
effects up to coma or death. Absorption by the skin is possible. Possibility of damage to heart, kidneys, liver and optic
nerves (blindness) over a period of time.

4. First Aid Measures
Eye
In case of contact, hold eyelids apart and immediately flush eyes with plenty of tepid water for at least 15 minutes.
Get medical attention immediately if irritation develops and persists.
Skin
Remove matreial with a waterless skin cleaner from skin and clothing. Wash then with plenty of water or water
and soap.

4. First Aid Measures - Continued
Ingestion
Drink plenty of water. Get medical attention immediately. Indicate the possible formation of methanol.
Inhalation
If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult give oxygen.
Get medical attention if irritation occurs or if breathing becomes difficult.

5. Fire Fighting Measures
Flash Point: >212 ??F > 100 ??C
Lower Explosive Limit: Not Determined
Upper Explosive Limit: Not Determined
Fire And Explosion Hazards
As a result of hydrolysis, flammable vapors may accumulate in the container head space. Explosion limits for
hydrolysis product: 5.5 - 44% (methanol)
Extinguishing Media
Dry sand, carbon dioxide, dry chemical or alcohol-resistant foam.
Fire Fighting Instructions
In the event of a fire, firefighters should wear full protective clothing and NIOSH-approved self-contained
breathing apparatus with a full facepiece operated in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode.

6. Accidental Release Measures
Wear protective equipment (see Section 8. "Exposure Controls / Personal Protection"). Avoid contact with eyes and
skin. Avoid inhaling mists and vapors. If material is released indicate risk of slipping.
HAZWOPER PPE Level: Prevent spills from entering surface waters, drains or sewers, and open soil. Dam in any fluid that runs out using
suitable materials (e.g. earth). Spills of material which could reach surface waters must be reported to the United States
Coast Guard National Response Center's toll free phone numbers (800) 424 - 8802.
Do not flush away with water. Take up mechanically and dispose of according to local/state/federal regulations. Absorb
with a liquid binding material such as diatomaceous earth and dispose of according to local/state/federal regulations.
Clean any slippery coating that remains using a cold cleaner (e.g. water surfactant blend).
Eliminate all sources of ignition.

7. Handling And Storage
Handling And Storage Precautions
Keep out of reach of children. Not for internal consumption.
Handling Precautions
Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep away from incompatible substances (see Section 10. "Stability and
Reactivity"). Spilled substance increases risk of slipping.
Vapors may form in closed rooms with air mixtures, leading to explosion in the presence of sources of ignition,
even in empty, uncleaned vessels. Keep away from sources of ignition and do not smoke. Take precautionary
measures against electrostatic charging. Cool endangered containers with water.
Storage Precautions
Protect against moisture. Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool, well ventilated place.

7. Handling And Storage - Continued
Work/Hygienic Practices
Wash thoroughly after handling.

8. Exposure Controls/Personal Protection
Engineering Controls
Use with adequate general and local exhaust ventilation. Local exhaust is recommended.
Eye/Face Protection
Safety glasses with side shields or chemical safety goggles.
Skin Protection
Chemical-resistant butyl rubber protective gloves. Lab coat or other work clothing to prevent skin exposure (Long
sleeve shirt and long pants). Launder before reuse. Provide an eye bath and safety shower.
Respiratory Protection
Respiratory protection is not normally required, A NIOSH approved air purifying respirator equipped with
universal multi-contaminant multi-gas/vapor cartridges is recommended if over exposure to chemical vapors
could occur.
Other/General Protection
Avoid breathing dust/vapor/mist/gas/aerosol. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not eat, drink or
smoke when handling. Wash thoroughly after handling.
