Applications:

It is widely used in the production of coatings, adhesives, elastomers, super absorbent polymers, flocculants, as well as fibres and plastics. Acrylate polymers show a wide range of properties dependent on the type of the monomers and reaction conditions. 1,6-Hexanediol diacrylate is used as a functional monomer for polymers and as a crosslinking agent between the molecular chains of polymers. End application include adhesives & sealants, alkyd coatings, elastomer, photoresist; photopolymers electronics, inks for improved adhesion, hardness, abrasion and heat resistance.

Stability and Storage: The stability depends upon dissolved oxygen and MEHQ inhibitor. The presence of oxygen is necessary for inhibitor to prevent polymerization.
