Description

White or almost white crystalline powder, melting point is 137~141°C, odourless or with slight peculiar smell,

 easily soluble in methanol, dissolve in alcohol, slightly soluble in dichlormethane, water and acetic acid, 

insoluble in diethyl ether.

 

Specifications

It has five-membered ring structures containing three nitrogen atoms, similar to other triazoles(oral/Inj grades)

Fluconazole is offered by us in both oral as well as intravenous formulations. It is mainly suggested for the 

treatment and prophylaxis of fungal infections where other antifungals have failed or are not tolerated and is 

the most extensively used bis-triazole antifungal agent.

Fluconazole can be used first-line for the following indications:

·  Coccidioidomycosis

·  Cryptococcosis

·  Histoplasmosis

Prophylaxis of candidiasis in immunocompromised people.
