3.  Applications

Mode of Action

Absorbed by bud, which will restrain the growth of bud and root by inhibiting the synthesis of protein in bud and deter the generation of lecithin.

The Gramineae weed has a better absorption of Metolachlor than broadleaved weeds.

Crops

Soybean, corn, cotton, peanut, potato, cabbage, spinach, garlic, sunflower, sesame, beet, carrot, sugarcane, fruit, Cruciferae, Solanaceae, Asteraceae, Umbelliferae, etc.

Control

Annual Gramineae and some Dicotyledon weeds.

4.  Usage

Dosage

e.g. Control of annual weeds on pumpkin: 800~1200g/ha.

Specific dosage depends on different situation.

Application method

Pre emergence. Spray on the soil.

5.  First Aid Measures

General advice: Consult a physician.

If inhaled. If breathed in, move person into fresh air.

If not breathing, give artificial respiration

In case of skin contact, wash off with soap and plenty of water

In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 min.

If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting.

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water.

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a well-ventilated place.
