3.  Applications

Mode of Action

Dinotefuran can be applied to foliage or to the soil and is active by contact and ingestion. 

It also has root-systemic activity. 

The activity can persist for 3~4 weeks after application.

Crops

1. Field crops (e.g. Rice, wheat, cotton, etc)

2. Fruit trees (e.g. Apple, grapevines, pear, peach.etc)

3. Fruiting vegetables (e.g. Cucumber, tomato, pepper, potato, etc)

4. Leafy vegetables (e.g. Cabbage, celery, cole, parsley, etc)

5. Ornamentals.

Control

1. Sucking insects such as aphids, plant bugs, leafhoppers, mealy bugs.

2. Coleoptera species such as weevil, beetle, flea.

3. Diptera species such as leafminer fly.

4. Certain Lepidoptera species such as fruit moths leafminers.

5.  First Aid Measures

General advice: Consult a physician.

If inhaled. If breathed in, move person into fresh air.

If not breathing, give artificial respiration

In case of skin contact, wash off with soap and plenty of water

In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 min.

If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting.

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water.

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a well-ventilated place.
