Mode of Action

 It must be ingested to be effective.

It shows selective toxicity to insects with chewing or sponging mouthparts.

Control

For agriculture and household. It is used to control ants, cockroaches, termites, crickets and silverfish, Blattidae insects.

E.g. Hydramethylnon 2% bait, control of Blattella germanica: 0.25 g bait/m2.

5.  First Aid Measures

General advice: Consult a physician.

If inhaled. If breathed in, move person into fresh air.

If not breathing, give artificial respiration

In case of skin contact, wash off with soap and plenty of water

In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 min.

If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting.

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water.
