Mode of Action

(1) It has a variety of pharmacological effects, including anti-cancer effects and action as a kappa opioid receptor and µ-receptor agonist.

 (2) Matrine possesses strong antitumor activities in vitro and in vivo.

 (3) Inhibition of cell proliferation and induction of apoptosis are the likely mechanisms responsible for matrine's antitumor activities.

General advice: Consult a physician.

If inhaled. If breathed in, move person into fresh air.

If not breathing, give artificial respiration

In case of skin contact, wash off with soap and plenty of water

In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 min.

If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting.

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water.

2)Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a well-ventilated place.
