DESCRIPTION:

Span-60 is milk white to light yellow granular powder or lump solids without odor. It can dissolve in polar organic solvents and disperse in water. Having the function of emulsifying, dispersing, and wetting. It belongs to the non-ionic surfactant and the HLB value is 4.7.

According to GB2760-86, it can be used as a food emulsifier; Also used in cosmetic and

the textile industry etc., and usually associated with the use of Tween-60.

SPECIFICATION:

Performance:ivory color dandifying liquid. Slightly brings the bitter taste, dissolves in the water, the aniline, the ethyl acetate and the toluene, does not dissolve to the mineral oil and the vegetable oil. Has moist, frothing and so on spreading, is the O/W emulsifier, the HLB value 14.9.

Uses:Serves as the emulsifier in food and the cosmetics, but also makes the emulsifier in each kind of O/W emulsion. Takes oil agent and the lubricant in the textile industry. Often with Span-60 duplicate matches the use as the emulsifier.
