It is a key material for the manufacture of corn based biochemical products ranging from corn sweetness amino acids. Modified starch mainly includes absorbent starch, etherified starch, cross-linked starch, oxidized starch and phosphate ester starch. And corn starch is one of  the important raw materials for food, paper and textile industrials.
