Sterilization of injection water in oil field:
There is a lot of microbials in reinjection sewage, such as sulphate-reducing bacteria (SRB), iron bacteria and saprophytic bacteria. The growth, metabolism and reproduction of the microbials will cause serious corrosion to drilling device, injection pipe and other metal material and pipe clogging and lead to the reduction of water injection, oil production and oil quality, difficulty in oil processing and great economic loss. The use of bactericide is still the main method for controlling the bacterials in reinjection sewage nowadays, and the available bactericides are all belong to chlorine dioxide, aldehyde and quatemary ammonium salt in the domestic market more or less with disadvantages of large dosage and toxicity and serious pollution. The bactericide of quatemary ammonium salt features good sterilization, but the drug resistance of SRB is improved after long-time service leading to increased dosage and cost. The development of novel efficiency bactericide is imperative. As a typical novel bactericide, quatemary diammonium salt, also named quaternary ammonium Gemini surfactant, attracts extensive attention with its low-toxicity and good performance. It has better sterilization than 1227 (dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride), and can be alternatively use with other chemicals to inhibit the drug resistance and reduce cost. Meanwhile, the quatemary diammonium salt also features excellent water solubility and good corrosion inhibition of carbon steel.
